I am a graduate of Nashville High School! Go Scrappers! I skipped my senior year of high school and graduated early in 1996. I got my Bachelor's degree in Business - Organizational Management from John Brown University in 2003. I got my Master's degree in Education - Curriculum and Instruction from Henderson State University in 2008.
I love learning! I still take college classes in different areas. I have taken classes in counseling as well as administration and other areas.
I began my career at Nashville Primary School as a Kindergarten teacher for the 2006-2007 school year. This begins my 8th year here with the district and my 10th year as a teacher. I have taught Kindergarten during my entire time here and I love it very much.
Before coming to Nashville Primary, I taught both at the ABC Preschool in Nashville, and at the Mineral Springs School District in different capacities.
I have three children who attend school here in the district. Cecily is 13. She is beginning the 8th grade this year. My son, Joshua, is 11 and is entering the 5th grade. Amelia is 6, and she is going into 1st grade and will be in Ms. Caldwell's class.
I love to read. Most of the time, when I am not working, you can find me curled up with a good book. I also like to fish and ride 4-wheelers. I like to target shoot with a compound bow. I love being around friends. I like to do anything to make those around me happier!
