6th Grade Teacher
“Once a Scrapper, Always a Scrapper!”
I was born and raised in Nashville, Arkansas and LOVED IT! I graduated from Nashville High School in 2010. After high school, I attended Henderson State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in English, Certified grades 4-12. I continued my education at Henderson State University where I earned my Master of Science in Education in Educational Leadership. I am currently pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum Leadership. The Nashville School District inspired me to be a lifelong learner from a very young age.

This will be my first year teaching at Nashville, and I am very excited because I am a scrapper! I went to school in Nashville from kindergarten to 12th grade and LOVED IT!
This is my third year of teaching. I taught for two year in Little Rock at Central Arkansas Christian. I taught 7th grade, 8th grade, and 12th grade. I also coached 7th grade and junior high cheerleading.
My mom and dad still live in Nashville, Arkansas. I live with them and my two cats, Murry and Caesar. I love ALL animals, but cats are my favorite. My dad runs a trucking company, and my mom substitute teaches and stays at home. I have two older brothers, Matthew and John. Matthew works for a computer company in Boulder, Colorado. John works as an engineer in Little Rock, Arkansas. I love my family very much!
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time on Lake Greeson, traveling around the world, reading suspenseful novels, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
