I have been a teacher in the Nashville School District since 1991. I taught third grade for 1 year, and spent the next 22 years teaching fourth grade. This is my 7th year year as the NES Media Specialist/Librarian, and I LOVE IT!!!
I have had the privilege of working in the Nashville Public Schools my whole teaching career.
I got married the same year I started teaching, 1991. My husband is Lance Pope, who is a Legislative Auditor for the State of Arkansas. I have two chldren, both boys. Preston is a junior in college, and Will is a junior in high school. Our family is proud to be Nashville Scrappers. I have black lab dogs, Jack and Dude, who are a part of our family. I also have three cats: Lightning, Emmy, and Lucky. And, of course, I love to read!
I love to READ, of course! I also like to spend time with my family. I spend as much time as possible outside enjoying the great outdoors. Both of my boys play sports, so we spend lots of time at the baseball and football fields.
