I am a Scrapper through and through. I attended Nashville schools from kindergarten through high school. I graduated from NHS in 1993. I graduated from Arkansas Tech University in May 1998. I also attended graduate school at Henderson State University and Abilene Christian University.
Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education

I started teaching at Nashville in 2004. In that time, I have taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grades in several areas including pe, science, and reading. Currently, I teach 4th grade language arts and social studies.
Prior to teaching in Nashville, I worked at Henderson State University and Abilene Christian University as a Residence Hall Director. While in Abilene, I decided to enter the teaching profession. I taught 2nd grade and 5th grade one year each before returning to my hometown.
I married Michael in 2005. We have one son, Halton, who is starting preschool this fall.
My family and I have many outside activities. My husband is a full-time minister, so we are very involved in our church activities. One of my favorite things to do is go to Bible camp in the summer.
I also am the event chair for Howard County's Relay For Life. Cancer has had a large impact on my family, and I hope one day soon we have a world with no cancer.
My favorite hobby is making scrapbooks. I started scrapbooking about 15 years ago, and at last count, I have made about 30 albums.
